Interact Marketing is making changes in the office, as well as updating procedures to more closely meet the needs of employees, we are taking a more in-depth commitment to employee wellness. Highlights include a new cappuccino machine, workout room, and flexible Friday hours.

(PRWEB) FEBRUARY 05, 2019 – Following the official launch of leading Hudson Valley digital agency Interact Marketing’s wellness program in 2016, the CEO Joe Beccalori has challenged employees to raise the bar. Equipped with access to healthy food, in-house wellness facilities, and subsidized access to Gold’s Gym in Newburgh, New York, Interact is reaffirming their dedication to employee wellness.
What’s new this year prior to the Wellness Program’s beginnings in 2016 and 2017 is all about taking a holistic approach to employee wellness. Improvements to the break room, as well as the in-house workout space were priorities for Beccalori.
“If employees need a little caffeine boost or they want to fit in a workout on one of these cold New York winter nights without stopping at the gym, we’re going to accommodate those needs. We’re also recommitting to having healthy communal food available for a quick boost of energy.”
In addition to a microwave, refrigerator, sink, toaster and griddle, the break room now includes a cappuccino machine, SodaStream©, blender, juicer, smoothie maker, and wall to wall cabinets to house shelf-stable healthy snacks like protein bars, dried fruits and nuts. A side office was transformed into a workout space complete with a treadmill, elliptical, yoga mats, and workout bands to privately fit in a quick cardio session. There is also a bottomless fruit bowl for employees to grab a quick snack.
Coined “Café Interact”, another side office was transformed into a lounge area for employees to be able to conduct brainstorming sessions in a calm environment, or to take a short meditation break. The lounge features a futon and espresso machine.
Flexibility is another aspect of the Wellness Program that has launched in 2019. Outdoor walking meetings are encouraged for warmer months, which is thought to help employees clear their minds and get over that midday hump. Additionally, what used to be a “Summer Friday” program has been upgraded to year-round “Early Fridays” so employees have the option to get a head start to their weekend after putting in extended hours throughout the week.
The office plan is being modeled as a microcosm of Google Headquarters to inspire employees to make big improvements for themselves, and in turn, for clients. Being that the agency’s team is growing to accommodate for an increase in client deliverables, the Wellness Program is a staple of the company culture Beccalori wants to sustain.
Beccalori set an ambitious goal for 2019 to take the team hiking and conquer one of the local mountains in the iconic Hudson Highlands region.
