Gregory Hold is the co-founder of Hold Brothers: a leading direct access trading firm that deals primarily with the trading of domestic equities.
Greg’s educational background includes a B.A. in economics and physics from Rutgers. Gregory Hold has received FINRA Series 7, 28, 24, 63, and 55 licenses. Gregory studied an M.S. in Technology Management at Columbia University.
Gregory Hold spent years as a prosperous professional day trader and he developed strong talent for high-speed trading. He also gained keen knowledge about the special needs of traders in a marketplace – and world – that is always changing.
He created Hold Brothers with his brother Steven in 1994. Gregory Hold’s mission was to create a firm that would supply traders with all the tools necessary to succeed quickly and precisely. Today, Hold Brothers provides access to all of the U.S. markets. They have offices in New York City (their headquarters) and Hoboken, NJ.
Gregory Hold has managed the creation and development of the well-known Hold Brothers proprietary Graybox™ software. Graybox helps Hold Brothers to offer traders direct access to markets and various liquidity pools, all across the globe.
